Translating the EU AI Act into actionable technical requirements for trustworthy AI

Funding: Delft Design for Values Institute

SIG-AI-ACT is a special interest group that connects AI research, regulation, and design practice. It focuses on turning high-level principles in the EU AI Act into concrete technical requirements, evaluation methods, and development practices.

The initiative brings together researchers and practitioners to work on topics such as transparency, privacy, human oversight, data governance, and risk classification. Its goal is to help translate legal and ethical expectations for high-impact AI into tools and guidance that can be used in practice.
